Kellie Harrington has won a gold medal at the European Olympic qualifier at Le Grand Dome in Paris.
Harrington, who booked her place in the Tokyo Olympics last Saturday, defeated England’s Caroline Dubois in the lightweight final.
The Irish boxer, 31, won 4:1 split decision verdict against her 20-year-old opponent to further boost her prospects of high seeding ahead of the Olympic Games in July.
Michaela Walsh also won a silver medal after suffering defeat to Italian Imra Testa in the featherweight final.
