Mickey Harte has been appointed as the new Louth football manager.
Harte, who ended his 18-year tenure as Tyrone manager just 10 days ago, will take over the Louth footballers on a three-year contract.
The three-time All-Ireland winner and his long-time colleague Gavin Devlin, with whom he worked in Tyrone, will also take charge of Louth’s U20 team.
“We would like to give Mickey and Gavin a very warm welcome to Louth and we look forward to working closely with them over the next three years,” read a statement.
Louth were relegated to Division 4 of the Allianz Football League this year.
