The UFC will return to Dublin for the first time in five years on August 15th.
Tickets for the 3Arena card will go on sale on June 26th, with the participating fighters yet to be announced.
Irish fighter Paddy Holohan suffered a second-round submission defeat to Louis Smolka when the UFC last came to town in 2015, a year after Conor McGregor defeated Brazil’s Diego Brandao on his way to conquering the featherweight division.
The UFC first visited Dublin in 2009 for UFC93, when American Dan Henderson defeated light heavyweight Rich Franklin via split decision.
“We kicked off the year with a phenomenal comeback from Conor McGregor at UFC 246, and now we are thrilled to announce our return to Ireland after four-years,” UFC international and content senior vice president David Shaw said.
“With Irish fans amongst the most passionate UFC supporters in the world, and Dublin being such an iconic global city, we can’t wait to put on another world-class event for our fans there.”
