Xherdan Shaqiri scored twice as Switzerland beat Turkey 3-1 at Baku Stadium in Euro 2020 Group A.
Haris Seferović gave the Swiss an early lead with an excellent low drive from 20 yards, before talisman Shaqiri curled a delightful right-footed effort into the top corner from the edge of the box 20 minutes later.
Turkey midfielder İrfan Can Kahveci gave his country hope with an exquisite curler into the top corner just after the hour mark, but Shaqiri doubled his tally in the 68th minute to put the game beyond doubt.
Swiss captain Granit Xhaka hit the post with a free-kick late on as Vladimir Petković's side finished strongly in Azerbaijan.
Switzerland finish third behind Wales on goal difference, but are in pole position to progress to the knockout stages as one of the tournament's best-placed third teams.
Wales finish second behind group winners Italy despite suffering a 1-0 defeat to the unbeaten Azzurri in Rome.
